About Us

AffairHealing.com began in 2009, a project started by Tim Tedder, a counselor dedicated to guiding individuals and couples through affair recovery. He saw a deep need for accessible support and clear resources to help people regain balance after infidelity. What began as a website with several articles and tools soon evolved into a much larger effort to support those wounded by betrayal.

A few years later, Tim partnered with Sharon Barbour to start Currents Counseling in Winter Park, Florida. Jennifer Gingras soon joined them, and together, this trio offered counseling and coaching to Central Florida residents and video coaching to clients around the globe. Tim, Sharon, and Jennifer each brought unique perspectives to their work, strengthening their commitment to providing resources for anyone needing support, no matter their location.

Their teamwork grew beyond individual sessions and developed into more dynamic offerings, including The Recovery Room podcast. Episodes feature honest discussions and practical insights into affair recovery, with thousands of listeners tuning in to learn from their combined experience. Even after Tim’s move to the Midwest, Sharon’s relocation to California, and Jennifer's remaining in Florida, the three continued working together to reach people worldwide.

This Healing Place

(c) 2025 Lyrics by Tim Tedder
Music by Tim Tedder | Suno

Come as you are, bring pieces you’ve saved
Fragments of you—so broken, so brave
We’ll sit with the sorrow, release all the shame
Restoring what’s shattered, reclaiming your name

In this healing place, there’s room to feel
To breathe through the hurt, believe wounds can heal
Faith over failure, hope over pain|
Finding the courage to love once again

It’s okay to stumble and question the path
Feel the pain of the loss, but not let it last
There’s strength in the waiting, grace in the fall
We’re building back bridges and breaking down walls

In this healing place, there’s room to feel,
To breathe through the hurt, believe wounds can heal.
Faith over failure, hope over pain,
Finding the courage to love once again.

This is a heartache that hollows your soul,
Making you doubt you’ll ever be whole.
But others have come here much the same way,
Opening doors to a new, brighter day.

In this healing place, there’s room to feel
To breathe through the hurt, believe wounds can heal
Faith over failure, hope over pain
Finding the courage to love once again
